California to Receive $2.25 Billion in Federal Grants for High-Speed Rail

The Obama Administration announced that California will receive $2.25 billion in federal stimulus funds to jump-start the construction of a high-speed rail line in California. The project will create more than 160,000 construction jobs and an estimated 450,000 long-term jobs.
