New Video and Game Exposes Whitman's Job-Slashing History
Throughout her career as a corporate executive, Meg Whitman has made a game of downsizing workers and outsourcing their jobs, and getting exceedingly rich in the process.
This week, the California Labor Federation launched a new online video and video game that highlights Meg "Wall Street" Whitman's job-killing track record, as part of our ongoing campaign to combat Whitman's barrage of misleading and untrue advertisements and expose her Wall Street agenda.
We encourage you to help us spread the word by sharing this video and game with your friends, family and co-workers.

Take A Stand Against Arizona's Racial Profiling Law
On Thursday, July 29th, join more than 500 workers as they travel from LA to Phoenix without "papers" or identification to protest SB 1070, Arizona's new immigration law, which will go into effect on that day.
"No one will be able to tell from looking at us who is illegal and who is not," says letter carrier Matt Kozlo, who will ride the bus to Phoenix. "Whether we are white, black, Asian, or Hispanic, we all came here at some point from somewhere else. Our immigration system does need to be fixed, but not the way Arizona is doing it."
Thirteen chartered buses will depart from Dodgers Stadium at 5am on July 29th, following an early-morning send-off rally, which will begin at 4am, and all are welcome to join.

Judge Rules Against Governor's Minimum Wage Order
Today, a Sacramento Superior Court judge ruled against Governor Schwarzenegger's efforts to force state Controller John Chiang to immediately start paying state workers the federal minimum wage of $7.25/hour.
Today's victory comes on the heels of another court ruling against Schwarzenegger's furlough policy. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals issued an opinion this week not only invalidating the furlough of workers at the State Compensation Insurance Fund, but upholding a lower court's ruling that the workers are owed back pay.
