Wednesday: Rally to Stop Walmart in Burbank

Walmart has announced it plans to open a 140,000 sq. foot store at Empire Shopping Center in Burbank. Despite the fact that city law forbids grocery sales in the proposed Walmart location, and the economic and traffic issues haven’t been fully studied and addressed, the project is still moving forward.

On Wednesday, take action to stop Walmart from coming to Burbank by joining the rally outside the Burbank City Council meeting, beginning at 5pm at 275 East Olive in Burbank.
